SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 FOOD SHELF HOURS: 9 AM TO 11 AM
SATURDAY HOURS: The Food Shelf will be open from 9 AM to 11 AM this Saturday, September 2.
REUSABLE BAGS: Please bring your reusable bags if you have some. Also, bring Proof of Residency if you are coming for the first time or have been asked to bring it.
GARDENERS: Thank you to all who are bringing their extra produce. Tomatoes are coming now and they are looking great. Colchester residents who use the services of the Food Shelf are really enjoying all the fresh produce. Someone will be at the Food Shelf by 8:15 preparing for the open hours of 9 – 11 AM.
OUT OF DATE ITEMS: As some of you think about getting ready to go south and cleaning out your pantry, be sure to check the dates. We cannot put outdated items on our shelves.
DONATIONS: Thank you to all who donate so generously. Please only leave donations on Wednesdays/Saturdays (when we are open). The high-priority items are those that are on the shopping list used by our clients. You can find a list of high-priority items by visiting the Donate page on our website (or click here to view the list). If you do not need a receipt, there is a plastic container under the canopy where food donations can be left. Financial donations should be mailed to the PO Box address below:
