Farmers to Families Food Box Program
The Farmers to Families food box program, providing the distribution of fresh produce, cheese, milk, and chicken, is continuing throughout the state. The next distribution in our area will be on Monday, August 10.* To keep wait times to a minimum, reservations are required for the distributions. To register and see the dates and locations, please visit humanresources.vermont.gov/food-help or call 2-1-1 if you do not have access to the internet or are uncomfortable using it.
Distributions sites rotate around the state, with each site occurring at least twice during the month. If you don’t make it to the first distribution date for your town, check the calendar on humanresources.vermont.gov/food-help to see when distribution will be back in your community/area. Registration is open for through the week of August 10.
*These dates were listed on humanresources.vermont.gov/food-help as of 8/3/2020. Please check the dates on the website in case changes are made to the originally posted schedule.
