SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2 FOOD SHELF HOURS: 9 AM TO 11 AM

The Food Shelf will be open on Saturday, November 2, from 9 AM to 11 AM.

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, the Colchester Community Food Shelf is beginning its annual collection of food and monetary donations to help those in need. This year, we anticipate providing Thanksgiving meals to around 200 families in our community, and we need your support to make it possible!

If you’re able to contribute, we would greatly appreciate donations of the following food items:

  • Canned Corn
  • Canned Green Beans
  • Instant Mashed Potatoes
  • Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken Soup
  • French Fried Onions
  • Stuffing Mix
  • Gravy (jarred, canned, or instant)
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Turkeys

Donation Drop-Off Times:

  • Wednesdays: 11 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday Drop-Offs:
    • November 2nd, 9 AM – 11 AM
    • November 16th, 11 AM – 4 PM
    • November 23rd, 11 AM – 4 PM

FOOD DRIVE: 2024 Fill the Boat Food Drive at Saba Marine in Colchester from September 23 to November 18. Help fill up a boat with non-perishable items for the Colchester Community Food Shelf. You can find Saba Marine at 390 Prim Road in Colchester, Vermont.

The Food Shelf is located at 245 Main Street, Colchester, between Claussen’s Greenhouse and Union Memorial School.
