Summer Lunch Program
The Colchester Summer Lunch Program was started by the Malletts Bay Congregational Church, UCC Mission Board. In the summer of 2000, we began with two families and three children. In 2008, we had 86 children enrolled in the program. We are now helped and supported by many other individuals and congregations in Colchester. In the past 18 years, we have provided 514 children with 25,700 meals. The average cost of those meals was $0.82 per meal. We do not receive any federal or state funding. It is all funded by donations. Please consider becoming a supporter.
